Our Fitness Studio

On the upper floor of Chapel Hill Tennis Club, we offer a fitness studio with a variety of strength equipment and a full range of Life Fitness machines. Cross-training in our fitness studio is a great way to improve your tennis game.

  • $57 per hour

The Sweatheart Challenge is a February fitness challenge designed to promote movement and build community! Whether you’re joining solo or with a partner (spouse, boyfriend/girlfriend, friend, or even your child), this challenge is all about getting in movement and staying active together. Participants earn points for their activity, and those with the most points at the end of February will win exciting prizes! 

 

FREE TO PARTICIPATE

 

Challenge Details:

  • Main Goal: Encourage movement and hit a community goal of 1,200 hours of movement throughout February.

  • Individual or Partner Participation:

    • Join solo or with a partner.

    • If you participate with a partner, you have the opportunity to earn more points giving you an extra edge in the challenge

  • Tracking Points:

    • Participants will track their movement and points on a Google Sheet (emailed to you at sign-up).

    • Weekly leaderboard updates will be sent out via email 

    • Points per 30 minutes of these activities: Personal Training Session (25 points), Group Fitness Class (20 points), Strength (15 points), Cardio (10 points), Mobility/Flexibility (5 points)

  • Social Media 

    • Join the fun on social media! Share your favorite movement moments by tagging @ChapelHillTennisClub and using the hashtag #SweatheartChallenge for a shoutout.

    • Prize: $100 Amazon gift card + a free one-on-one or semi-private personal training session.

 

How to Participate:

  1. Sign Up: Look out for the email with the Google Sheet link to register and track your points.

  2. Move: Earn points for every minute of movement—whether it’s walking, running, swimming, dancing, or your favorite workout.

  3. Track Your Progress: Log your movement daily or weekly in the Google Sheet.

  4. Stay Connected: Check out weekly leaderboard updates to see how you and the community are doing.

  5. Celebrate Together: Help us hit the community goal of 1,200 hours of movement for the month of February!

Flex30

Take your performance to the next level with a dynamic 30-minute agility workout designed to sharpen your speed, coordination, reaction time, balance, and overall skill work! Whether you're an athlete or just looking to stay quick on your feet, this class has modifications to suit all fitness levels.
 

Wednesday (2/19) 1:30 - 2 PM - Fitness Center

Agile30

(bring your own mat, there will be some provided for those who do not have one)
This 30-minute flexibility and mobility session is designed to enhance your movement, improve your range of motion, and keep you feeling your best. By focusing on targeted stretches and mobility work, this class aims to help you move more fluidly on the tennis court, prevent injury, and perform your best. Whether you are recovering from a tennis session or going into one, this class is great for all levels, with modifications offered!
